From accurate cutting of the hose, verified insertion depths into the fitting, to correct crimping on calibrated machines, and final visual and crimp diameter measurement checks, hose assembly is at the very core of our competencies.

To ensure that we can meet all your needs we stock one of the most extensive ranges of hydraulic hose and fittings in the UK, with products from all the leading brands.  We can manufacture your hydraulic rubber hose assemblies from ¼” to 2” in either 1 wire, 2 wire, compact or multi-spiral, to suit your application.  There is a complete range of end fittings available in metric, JIC, BSP, or ORFS.
Laser marking on the ferrules and/or robust oil, UVA and water resistant labels or tagging can be applied to simplify your production build.

Our hose assembly technicians are fully trained and utilise state-of-the-art crimping technology and procedures.  We are an Approved Hose Assembler under the British Fluid Power Association assessment scheme.

​Hose assemblies are available with optional pressure-testing (with full-cycle record), pellet cleaning and certificate of conformity.  We can supply whip checks and restraints if needed.

We also provide small and large diameter suction/delivery hose and general-purpose (air/light oil) hose, available with or without bolt-clamp assembled ends.

If you sometimes, or frequently, need to produce hose assemblies at your own site, especially if you manufacture bespoke equipment, we can provide crimping machines, stocks of hose and fittings, and full training for your team.

Rigid tube solutions

For some applications, a non-flexible connection may be more appropriate to eliminate multiple components and leak paths, or to provide a more robust or visually appealing solution.

We offer CNC manipulated cold drawn seamless (CDS) hydraulic tubes in sizes covering the full ¼” to 2” diameter range, with extensive tooling to meet your required bend radii.  With full end-forming capability we can pre-fit suitable nuts, for connection to hoses and manifolds.  Our fabrication facilities also allow for the attachment of bracketry and clamps.

Plug-and-play pre-built packages

Our aim is to make your life as easy as possible, both as a one-stop-shop supplier and also to simplify and speed up production on your shopfloor. 

To that end we produce pre-built modules ready to be fitted to your production builds.  This can be a rigid tube and flexible hose run complete with clamps to be bolted to a boom, through to a full hydraulic sub-assembly including hydraulic cylinders, filters, valves or pumps.

We can also build your hydraulic control system packages, leaving you free to concentrate on your core activities.

Mobile hose installation and replacement

For those unusual circumstances when,

• you have urgent development work to complete, and you just need someone to come to your site and measure up and make a hose there and then, or
• you have taken your equipment to a show and a hose gets damaged, or
• there is any kind of hydraulic hose emergency

Available for both onsite prototype and development work and for offsite repairs for your or your customers’ equipment, our mobile hydraulic assembly workshop vans, operated by our experienced hydraulic engineers, are available 24/7. Fully kitted out with saws, crimping machines and an extensive selection of end fittings and hose supply, our team cover the Midlands and South Wales.  We can support customers nationally through our network.
