Health and Wellness
From Hoses to Thoughts,
We Untangle All Knots.
At Lister Fluid Power, we understand that seamless performance matters—whether it’s optimising hydraulic systems or fostering clarity and well-being for our team. Our commitment goes beyond tools and machinery.
- it’s about people -

Mental ill health has become the leading cause of long-term sickness absence in manufacturing. Addressing this issue is critical not only to employee satisfaction but also to productivity, innovation, and long-term sustainability. At Lister Fluid Power, we go beyond simply providing support—we strive to create an environment where well-being is woven into the fabric of our organisation.
Leadership and Organisational Culture

A supportive organisational culture is the foundation of a healthy workforce. We ensure that employees trust that their organisation cares about their well-being by championing open communication, empathy, and mutual respect. Health and safety are our number one priority and we endeavour to continually improve our processes to further protect the physical wellbeing of our employees.
Our leadership team is prepared to drive meaningful culture changes, and having trained Mental Health First Aiders within the company provides our staff with direct ports of contact should they have anything they wish to share. We understand that a culture of wellbeing requires consistent effort and continue to raise awareness and encourage open conversation relating to both physical and mental wellbeing.

We're serious about the hoses we build, but even more about the people who build them.
"We conduct regular audits and employee surveys to help us understand where we are and where we need to go. These insights enable us to prioritise improvements and tailor initiatives to our team’s needs. Our mental health and well-being team is available 24/7 to discreetly support all employees."
